Green Phantom Quartz is a member of the Quartz family and belongs to the “phantom crystal” category. Phantom crystals form during the crystal’s growth process when different mineral inclusions—such as volcanic mud and sediment—are trapped within the clear quartz. These inclusions create natural phantom-like landscapes inside the crystal, resembling clouds, seaweed, whirlpools, or even pyramid-shaped layers.

When the included mineral is green in color, it is known as Green Phantom Quartz. These green inclusions were formed when volcanic activity enveloped mineral-rich sediments during crystal growth, creating a wide variety of natural formations such as pyramid phantoms, full-bloom layers, “treasure bowl” structures, and star-dotted patterns.

Star Sand Green Phantom Quartz is a particularly mesmerizing variety. While maintaining high transparency, it reveals fine “star sand” inclusions under light—creating a breathtaking celestial effect reminiscent of a star-filled night sky.

Layered Green Phantom Quartz features clear, hydrated crystals with distinct, well-defined growth layers. The vivid emerald-green tones appear rich and fresh, occasionally accompanied by natural red skin inclusions. Under strong light, the layered formations shimmer like stars scattered across a deep night sky—dreamlike, elegant, and visually striking.
